Movable paper figures
Ninjas are masked warriors that you are sure to know from films and computer games. These paper Ninjas are really easy to make. During the day you can practice different moves with them, and when it gets dark in the evening they go into action.
Lights out, torch on and make brilliant silhouettes on the wall with the Ninjas.
- thick card, e.g. the back of a drawing pad
- 12 brass fasteners
- joggle eyes
- Pritt Original Stick
- felt tip pens
- hole punch
Tips and tricks:
At first, only cut out the templates roughly. Then stick them on the card with the glue stick. Then cut out the templates again, this time precisely along the outlines. That way you can be sure that everything is carefully stuck to the card and the edges don't come away.
Print out all of the templates for the Ninja figures and cut around the outlines.
Carefully stick each piece onto the card. Once the glue is dry, cut around the outlines again.
Punch holes where they are marked.
Then draw on the features with felt tip pens. The only bit you don't need to draw are the slits for the eyes.
Stick the joggle eyes on the slits and glue the head onto the body.
Then attach the legs and arms with the brass fasteners. Place the fasteners through the holes and fold them out at the back. If the ends are still poking out, fold them again in the middle.
Then glue the warrior's weapons on their hands.
Finally, cut out a 2 cm strip of card and glue it to the Ninja's back. That is the stick to control the figure. Then you can make your Ninjas fight in style.
